1951: Essay for the Inauguration of the Farouk Canal (Nov 1), produced by R. Bauchet of the Suez Canal Co. and the famous Egyptian philatelic scholar Jean Boulad d'Humieres FRPSL who was the Company's PR officer, the Essay
hand drawn on card (86 x 56 mm.) showing King Farouk and a liner passing the lighthouse and pier of the Canal at Port Said; hand-painted in shades of green and Chinese white. Changes were required when shown to the King, however for political reasons
the issue was cancelled, the Essay being returned to Jean Boulad d'Humieres with a note to him dated 16th October 1951. Unique. Ex collection Peter Botterill Nile Post = unrecorded(Image 1)

1955 (Nov 1): Arab Postal Union Congress, 37 m. violet, a used example, variety "Overpint Double", cancelled by part "SOHAG / P" circular datestamp of the Parcels Office in black (27 July 1956) in black. No unused examples of
