Inclinados: 300 reis, a very fine and fresh example of this rare adhesive in a deep shade with good to huge margins all round, showing parts of the adjoining stamp at top, tied to 1847 letter sheet from Rio to Campos endorsed "p. Vapor" by "CORREIO GENERAL DA CORTE / BRAZIL 24. 4 1847" in red. The cover with filing folds well away from adhesive and datestamp, some tropicalisation not distracting at all from the extreme rarity of this franking with only three covers known bearing this adhesive.
