Roter Aufgabestempel ZÜRICH 27. JAN 1848 auf dem Brief und rote Zürcher-Rosette auf der voll- breitrandigen Marke. Die Marke ist klar und sauber gestempelt. Rückseitig Teil des Ankunftsstempels 'OBERSTRASS', Attest Rellstab (2000). 538 image1941/1943, Pan American Airways, study presented upon exhibition pages, detailing the routes and rates during WWII, comprising seven covers, all with censor markings, origins from Kenya, Gold Coast, Barbados, Peru, Madagascar, noted 1941 First Flight cover sent from Gold Coast to Gloucester, England carried via USA, with violet cachet "First Flight / Regular Air Mail Service / Gold Coast-USA" and rather nicely a letter which contains the quote; "it may seem there is now an air mail service via America......this mail is closing today", study includes three on the westbound route (two Foreign Air Mail 22 - FAM 22, one the "O" service), two eastbound using FAM 22, also 1942 Kenya to Bermuda carried on a combination of Imperial Airways and Pan American Airways, a fascinating group, scarce and beautifully mounted. 1401 1857/1975: Remainder box of stamps from around the world, mainly unused, many never hinged, broad range of material from early to modern, a number of sheets and larger multiples, mostly Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America, includes a selection from Belgum Congo, North Korea, Germany, Iran, Hungary, Serbia, Spain, Iceland, Denmark and others; noted a used 1857 plate reconstruction of 1 d. penny stars (AA to TL), as well as the run of 1864 penny plates to plate 225 (excluding 77 and unchecked), also a nice group of Hong Kong 1946/76 with souvenir sheets, a range of postage due and Silver Wedding and more, some imperfections, although in the main condition is very fine, a useful accumulation.

1402 1850/1980: Substantial accumulation of stamps, comprising numerous bags brimming with stamps of differing eras, values and countries of the World, unsorted in parts, many thousand, also a large old time Schaubek album partially filled as well as two small stock books and a number of loose stock pages and cards, many unused, some cinderellas including very unusual set of Animal Protection Gratz (Austria) Association photographic stamps (12) c1910, depicting animals in cute or humorous scenarios, with value tab '3' and perforations all round printed upon thick photographic paper, most unusual and attractive; condition is mixed for the earlier issues, in the main fine to very fine for the more modern unused material, an excellent lot for sorting and possible discovery.
