Rückseitig mit Text: "Auf diesem, allerdings noch sehr ungewöhnlichem Wege, von Bord des Luftschiffes 'Schwaben' aus, senden Bürgermeisters aus Bützow Ihnen und Ihrer lieben Familie die herzlichsten Grüße durch diese Karte, die durch die Luft gereist ist."
Das Luftschiff Schwaben fuhr am 11.6.1912 von Baden-Baden nach Frankfurt a.M. als Anreise für die am 12.6.1912 beginnenden Rhein-Main-Fahrten. Diese Karte wurde augenscheinlich auf dieser Anreisefahrt befördert und die Luftpostmarke entsprechend noch mit Tagesstempel entwertet.
Kuriose Rarität und Vorläufer der "Rhein-Main Luftpost".

Sent to Vienna on September 5, 1933 with a red indicia from the Italian Ministry of Aviation for 1.25 L., but not found there
Interesting so-called "social philately" evidence! ÷ 1933, Dankschreiben des italienischen Luftfahrtministeriums für Glückwünsche wohl zum erfolgten Amerika-Flug des Gen. Balbo am 20.5.1933 mit folgendem Inhalt (übersetzt):
"Lieber Herr,
S. E. Balbo bittet mich, Ihnen meinen herzlichen Dank für die freundlichen Glückwünsche zu übermitteln, die Sie übersandt haben.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen"
Abgesandt nach Wien am 5.9.33 mit rotem Freistempel des italienischen Luftfahrtministeriums über 1,25 L., dort jedoch nicht angetroffen
