332 image1849-1942 extensive U collection in a Devon album with early issues (typically mixed condition) incl. 1853 to 80c (4) + pair & strip of four, 1870 Bordeaux with 80c (2) one with enormous margins, 1869 5f (fine condition for this, Cat. £1200), 1871 issues, 'Peace & Commerce', 'Mersons' etc. Better issues follow, incl. 1918 Red Cross (on piece), 1922 War Orphans, 1927 Air opts (Cat. £600), 1936 Air 50f ultramarine (Cat. £475) and 10f myrtle-green etc. Also a range of 60 or so earlier covers mostly bearing 1853 and 1863 20c blue, three with 1863 80c etc (mixed condition). A little untidy, but plenty of potential here and good value. (Image)

333 image1849-1972 extensive collection in two albums with early issues incl. numerous 1853 Empire types (mixed condition) to 40c (19) & 80c (6), then duplicated ranges of the perforated types, Peace & Commerce, Ceres and Sowers issues, Sinking Funds (1928 SG.463 and 1930 M), through to 1936 (Air 10f Myrtle). The majority thereafter are M (some incl. the various Airs are U), incl. 1937 Museum, 1949 CITEX, the 1949-57 Relief Fund sets (incl. 1954-55), through to 1972. Some 'back of the book' issues incl. pre-cancels, Dues and Colis Postal. Several 1000 stamps, a good, substantial collection. (Image)

(Cat. £600), 1929 Le Havre (on piece, Cat. £1000), 1936 10f Air and 1937 PEXIP M/Sheet (Cat. £475) etc. Some M issues also, incl. 1923 Bordeaux (Cat. £650), 1936 Air 50f ultramarine (light crease, Cat. £1000), 1937 Museum etc. Mostly UM from 1940 onwards and mostly complete through to 1981, incl. the 1949 & 1954 Airs, the Relief Fund sets (incl. 1954-5) and 1964 PHILATEC M/Sheet (Cat £425).
