1941-45 WWII Eastern Front campaign collection written up and neatly presented on 160 leaves in four albums for display at the Germany & Colonies Philatelic Society. This meticulously researched collection is based around 80
or so feldpost covers (some bearing the feldpost issues), each with the 'Fp' number indicated, providing therefore the regiment or unit and the various theatres of operations in Ukraine, the Moscow campaign and subsequent retreat, Lapland (scarce)
etc. The collection is enhanced by numerous illustrated postcards (some propaganda) running throughout, along with maps and other documents, with some covers also from Danzig, Sudetenland, Saar etc. A superb & fascinating collection. (Image)
