EXTENSIVE "BLACK JACK" COLLECTION, includes over 230 mint and used singles, contained on stock cards, in glassines and 102 cards, there are a number of specialty items here including many of the used with nice cancels which also includes some colored cancels, the overall condition is very mixed and faults are to be expected, it appears the collector was buying over many years and accumulating this group with the idea of organizing and mounting a specialized showing of this always popular area, the lot includes: 73*(NG x7), 73(159 used), 87(29 used), 93*(x2 one with NG), 93(39 used); the catalog value here does not reflect any premiums for those cancels listed in Scott, a very nice showing of this specialty area and certainly one of the better groups of "Black Jacks" that we have offered in quite some time, well worth a good look.

U.S. MINT AND USED COMMEMORATIVE ISSUE ACCUMULATION, includes a several dozen singles, pairs and some blocks, contained in 102 cards, glassines and retail pages, runs from about 1902 to 1920 with a few later, good variety but expect some duplication, most of the value here is in the mint material, the overall quality is quite mixed with faults to be expected, values generally in the $25-100 range with some higher, the material consists of Pan-Am Issue($2,400), Lou. Purch.($2,250), Pilgrim($1,200), Alaska-Yukon($2,700) and the Pan-Pac Issue($4,100), virtually every item was bought online over several years from a wide variety of sellers, there are a few dozen items with values in the $100-200 range, there are also a few Private Perfs included, a wonderful lot for the retailer with much of the work already done.
