ROC launched its first flight between Peking and Tsinan. Historical.

 1948 Tientsin (21 Nov) to USA. Airmail cover, f.w. Shanghai Dah Tung Print SYS $300,000 x14, in total of $4.2 million, tied by Tientisn bilingual cds. The proper international airmail rate should be Gold Yuan $7. However, this
letter was still paying the old rate Gold Yuan $1.35 (= CNC $4.05 million) which was effective until 18 Nov 1948. Continued example of old postage rate.

 1937 Shanghai (27 Jul) to Germany via Siberia. Eurasia Aviation Corporation official cover, f.w. SYS 25c, tied by Shanghai bilingual cds. Arrived Bremen (20 Aug). On reverse with promotional slogan. Despite being the official
cover of airliner, the mail was sent by surface mail. The service of Eurasia Aviation was also very limited due to Japanese aggression.

Chungking-Rangoon was important air route until the fall of Burma.
