2577 cover image1946 Hong Kong (27 Jan) to Victoria, Australia. Airmail cover, f.w. Hong Kong KGVI 1st issue pre-war print $1, tied by Victoria cds, alongside with scarce "BY AIR TO SYDNEY ONLY" h.s (Proud AM8). Very Fine. This h.s. was only in use for a very short period of time, not to mention the franking of pre-war print KGVI issue. Similar cover was sold at over $5000 at in Aug 2007.
