 1901 and 1905 a pair of China Expeditionary Force cover, including a KEVII 1/2a ovp. C.E.F. stationery cover used by FPO No. 4 cds and an incoming cover applied with “POSTAGE CANCELLED BY CHINA E.F. BASE OFFICE” cachet. Both
items are scarce and remarkable.
1901及1905年一對中國遠征軍封，當中包含一件愛德華七世半安娜加蓋 C.E.F郵資封，銷軍郵4局日戳。另一件進口封則鈐有“POSTAGE CANCELLED BY CHINA E.F. BASE OFFICE”指示戳。兩件均相當稀罕精彩。(Image 1)

 1900 Lieutenant Roger Keyes from HMS Fame at Hong Kong (19 Nov) to HMS Barfleur, stampless. The writer Roger Keyes was reported to be one of the first men to climb over the Peking walls and was later promoted to be the Admiral
of the Fleet. The content of the letter implied that he may not be the actual person who planted the Union Jack in Peking. Very scarce example of naval letters as they were normally carried by runner instead of postal system. With original letter.

1900.11.19 中尉Roger Keyes自香港之英國戰艦Fame號寄Barfleur號，無貼票。作者Roger Keyes據 聞為首批爬上北京城牆的官兵之一，隨後晉升至海軍元帥。該信之內容暗示他也許不是首位把米字旗 插於北京的人。這類型海軍郵件大多經信差送遞，不進入郵政系統，因而極罕。附原信。有趣 。(Image 1)
