1581 cover image1875 Hong Kong (5 Jun) to USA, f.w. Hong Kong QV 8c, tied by B62 obliterator, matching with Hong Kong cds on reverse. Transit San Francisco (30 Jun). This cover was carried by steamer Oceanic of Occidental and Oriental Steamship Company which created the fastest record of travelling from Yokohama to San Francisco for only 16 days and 10 hours in this voyage. No Hong Kong PAID ALL cds was applied given it is an non-contract vessel.

1586 cover image1899 (8 April) a French mail from Hong Kong to Germany endorsed by “PER FRENCH MAIL” printed letter in purple, franked with HKQV 20c ovpt on 30c green, 10c brown red, both tied by French octagonal d.s. of “LIGNE N PAQ. FR. No.4 / 8 AVRIL 99”, HK forwarder cachet “SIEMSSER & CO. HONG KONG” in purple. The mail is sent with late fee 10c. On the reverse side, Bockenem, Germany arrival c.d.s. (7 May). An unusual French mail in use of LIGNE N PAQ. No.4 as the direct cancellation date stamps plus the feature of Late Fee Paid.

FR. No.7”. 1900 (12 March) a commercial picture post card from Hong Kong to Constantinople, franked with a HK QV 4c cancelled by Hong Kong Index F c.d.s. (10 March), adjacent cancelled by “LIGNE N PAQ. FR. No.10”, and the transit c.d.s. “PORT SAID EGYPTE / 4 AVRIL 00”. 1909 (3 Aug) cover from Hong Kong to Rouen, France, franked with a HK KE 10c blue cancelled directly with a French octagonal d.s. “LIGNE N PAQ. FR. No.3”, adjacent with another Ligne N octagonal cancellation. A good mail with direct use of French Ligne N cancellation applied to HK stamps.
