The QV half penny indicium cancelled by obliterator "FC 92". Adjacent to it, cancelled by a fine double ringed 'CUSTOMS TIENTSIN/JUL 10/92" in red.

倫敦寄中國天津-經中國海關郵政遞送。1892年6月,維多利亞女王半便士郵資信封(wrapper)。本件為英國半便士印刷郵責信封(wrapper),左上角印有寄件人名稱“ASONIA CLOCK COMPANY LONDON E.C.”,寄至中國天津 Messers Meyer & Co.商行。信封右上角之**維多利亞女王半便士印記林由倫敦“FC92”圓形銷戰註銷。旁另加蓋**"CUSTOMS TIENTSIN/JUL 10/92”紅色雙圈到達日戳,表示由中國海關郵政系統負責最終派遞**這是19世紀晚期英國商業印刷品寄往中國內地並由清朝海關郵政系統負責遞送的典型範例。(Image 1) (Image 2)

88 cover image1896 Britain (13 Feb) to Amoy and redirected. British 1d PSC, tied by Norwich duplex d.s. Transit Hong Kong (21 Mar), Amoy BPO (24 Mar). Arrived Customs Amoy (24 Mar) with cds in red. Redirected via Customs Shanghai (29 Mar). Despite the faint strike, it is very rare to see Customs Amoy cds on incoming mail.

This card was prepaid in cash or was a subscriber's mail. Message was written in Volapuk with government bank label alongside. Very interesting and scarce example. Ex- Stephen Gates. 2021 (Dec) Kelleher & Rogers "The IPO Tie-Prints 1899-1904", lot 2512.

1502 cover image1783 Letter by a British naval officer, Canton. The content stated that he attended a funeral from Canton to Whampo the place where theh ship lay and where the Chinese oblige them to bury the deceased. Historical and interesting.

1506 cover image2 May 1844, entire letter from Lima, Peru addressed to Samuel W. Comstock Esq., agent of Messrs. Russell & Co., Canton China, carried privately via the Pacific to Manila, Philippines, where it received the forwarding agent's handstamp: "Forwd by Peel Hubbell & Co. / Manila" in red oval cachet. The contents reference the commercial export of cochineal (a prized red dye extracted from insects), offering trade quantities and requesting information on price viability in China. The writer notes that this product "is coming to be produced extensively and suggests trial investment interest in Canton. This correspondence illustrates the early commercial network linking South America, Southeast Asia, and China, well before the consolidation of global postal treaties. The absence of postal markings other than the forwarding cachet confirms the private carriage from Lima to Manila, then forwarded on to Canton likely on a merchant or consular vessel. Such pre-philatelic letters from South America to China are extremely rare, especially with Philippine forwarding agent markings, evidencing the crucial role Manila played as a hub in intercontinental commerce prior to formal mail treaties and organized postal routes across the Pacific. An exceptional and early example of trans-Pacific mercantile correspondence linking Peru, the Philippines, and China-markedly scarce and of high significance

1844年5月2日信函由利馬(秘魯)寄往中國廣州,收件人為Samuel W. Showing "Per PMSS City of Pekin" annotation. Transit Hong Kong (26 Sep). Arrived New York (30 Oct). Cover opened at left side. With mounting remnant. Webb recorded only 20 postcards and covers with C1 obliterator and 7 of them are Craven correspondence. This one is also a rather late example of C1 obliterator and type B combination. Ex- Duncan Cranford (Jan 1959).

1883.9.20 廣州寄美國Miss Maggie Craven，貼香港維多利亞女皇像10仙，銷清晰之C1黑色殺手戳，旁鈐廣州英局Webb B型日戳。寫有“Per PMSS CIty of Pekin”批注。9.26經香港。10.30抵紐約。封左側打開。背帶粘痕。Webb記錄中，C1封片僅有二十件，當中七件為Craven書信。另為同時蓋有C1殺手戳及B型日戳之較晚例子。1959.1 Duncan Cranford舊藏。(Image 1) (Image 2)

Plus a 1904 Canton to Canada cover with type Dii (index B; double digit year) cds.
