 1903 Shanhaikwan (28 Aug) to Scotland. Registered cover with 30th Punjab Infantry crest, f.w. Coat of Arms 10k in pair, tied by Shanhaikwan Russian PO T&S type 2 cds, alongside with registered label and circled R mark.
Transit Chinese Eastern Railway line 262 (1 Sep) with T&S type 1 serial 3 cds. Transit Moscow (15 Sep), London (Oct). Arrived Aberdeen (2 Oct). T&S only recorded Shanhaikwan type 2 cds on one stampless cover as transit. T&S also stated
that postal material from line 262 during the early 1900s are also scarce as only a few loose stamps of CER line 261 type 1 cds were recorded.
