1196 image1940 cover in the hand of Huge Richardson to Captain Gantz of Bombay, affixed with complete set of Third Issue tied by Lhasa handstamp. Huge Richarson was the head of British Mission in Lhasa. Said to be sent on 22 Feb 40, the inaugural ceremony date of 14th Dalai Lama. Philatelic but historical.

1940年Huge Richardson寄孟買Captain Gantz，貼西藏獅圖第三版票，銷拉薩戳記。Huge Richardson為 英國駐西藏代表團成員。據聞寄於1940年2月22日第十四世達賴喇嘛的儀式上。雖為集郵封，但極具歷史意義。(Image 1) (Image 2)

1246 image1968 Nepal to Lhasa. Registered cover, f.w. 43rd Anniv of the Birth of King Mahendra 15p in block of 6 + Freedom from Hunger 8x 10p on both sides, tied by faint cds. All Freedom from Hunger stamps were obliterated as PRC was undergoing severe famine. On front with registered label. Arrived Lhasa (13 Mar). This type of obliterated mails were already scarce, not to mention with large franking.

1968年尼泊爾寄拉薩。掛號封，正背貼馬亨德拉國王四十三歲誕辰15p六方連 + 國際免饑年8x 10p，銷模糊之日戳。當年中國正值三年自然災害，故國際免饑年郵票被塗抺。此類被塗抺郵件本已少見，多枚連票更是少見。(Image 1) (Image 2)

Interesting content: Heartiest greeting to you all from the shore of this great inland Blue Sea….. 1000’s of sheep, yaks & horses are grazing around & everywhere. On this highland are dotted tents of the Tibetans… I am writing this outside my little tent… Here is my little picture.

1510 image1854 Canton (9 Sep) to Cadiz, Spain via forwarding agent Michael Power in Gibraltar. Entire letter, rated “4” applied with scarce Webb type 1 “CANTON / PAID” double arc h.s. in orange on front and Webb type 2 “CANTON” double-arc cds on reverse. Transit Hong Kong. Webb only recorded about half-a-dozen examples of type 1 h.s. Nice early cover of Canton BPO.

1854.9.9 廣州經直布羅陀郵政代理Michael Power寄加的斯。郵簡，寫有郵資“4”，正鈐少見之Webb 1型“CANTON / PAID”雙弧橙色圓戳，背鈐廣州英局2型雙弧日戳。經香港。Webb記錄之1型戳記例子僅數件。出色之早期廣州英局郵例。(Image 1) (Image 2)

1513 image1906 Vladivostok (20 Feb) to Canton. Picture postcard, f.w. Coat of Arms 2k + 1k, tied by Vladivostok cds. Transit Shanghai Russian PO with T&S type 3 cds. Further transit Hong Kong (27 Mar). Arrived Canton BPO (28 Mar) with scarce Webb type Di (index A) cds. Webb stated that this type of cds is curiously rare as most examples are index B. Incoming from Russia even elevates this piece.

1906.2.20 海參崴寄廣州。圖片明信片，貼軍徽圖2戈比 + 1戈比，銷海參葳日戳。經上海俄局，鈐T&S 3型日戳。3.27經香港。3.28抵廣州英局，鈐少見之Webb Di型（A字）日戳。Webb指D型日戳大多為B字，故A字稀罕難得。自俄國進口更是錦上添花。(Image 1) (Image 2)
