 Kuang Hsu Year "Hoof" cover from Sair-Ussu to the Urgan Amban, featuring drawings of hooves. Sair-Ussu was the junction of the Yizhan network in Mongolia. However, since the independence of Mongolia, the rise of Urga led to the
decline of Sasir-Ussu. Despite its past importance, existing exammples are extremely scarce with only one warrant and two covers (including this one) are known.
光緒年間蒙古“馬上飛遞封”，由賽爾烏蘇寄庫倫大臣，鈐紅色官印。賽爾烏蘇於清代蒙古台站網絡中佔中心位置，隨後才因庫倫在為台站中心而衰落。雖然地位重要，但存世郵例極罕，目前已知僅有一件火票及兩件驛站封（包括這件）。(Image 1)

 1913 "Hoof" cover from the Assistant Clerk of stamp of Beis Sandagdorj to the clerk of basic treasury of General Beil. The corners featuring drawings of hooves. Hoof cover got its name from the drwaing of hooves at the four
corners which denotes express delivery by horse. Hoof cover has a higher level of emergency than ordinary mails but lower than Bird Covers. However, the rarity is equally impeccable.

 1878 Urga (29 Nov / Julian calendar: 17 Nov) to Peking. Dun-Fu-Yu red band cover, f.w. Coat of Arms 8k, tied by pen stroke. Arrived Peking (14 Dec) according to manuscript. Despite several faults and tears, the significance of
this cover is still tremendous. Illustration p.1 in "Huayou JiJin Vol II 2 - Stamps and Postal History of Mongolia" by M.Mizuhara. One of the 14 Urga pen-cancellation covers to Peking recorded by Hellrigl.

 1907 Urga (10 Dec) to Kalgan. Red band cover, f.w. Coat of Arms ovpt. KITAI 7k, tied by Urga Russian PO type 4 cds in red. Type 4 cds is much more scarce in red than other colour. Ovpt. KITAI stamps were not provided and
accepted in Russian post in Mongolia. Hellrigl stated that about 30-40 covers from Urga f.w. ovpt. KITAI stamps are known between 1907 and 1909.

 1900s a group of about 20 “Dun-Fu-Yu” correspondence red band covers and piece from Urga to Kalgan, f.w. Coat of Arms 7k or 14k, tied by Urga Russian PO various types of cds. Including 4 combination covers of Chinese and
Russian franking which were forwarded from Kalgan to Peking. Partly with stamp dropped, creases, folds, damages etc. One cover piece also applied with Min Chu vertical seal which is a scarce example of joint delivery by Russian Post and Min Chu. One
such complete cover was hammered at HKD$34,000 in AVA 2025 summer sale (lot 2745).
1900年代一組約20件“東富有”紅條封及剪片，由庫倫寄張家口，貼軍徽圖票合7或14戈比，銷不同樣式之庫倫俄局日戳。當中四件為中俄混貼封，於張家口加貼蟠龍票寄北京，均被撕除，但仍不失爲較好的研究資料。品相各異，大多帶掉票、折痕、裂口、破損等。當中一件剪片另鈐民信局直戳，為稀罕難得之蒙古俄局與民信局合作投遞例子。2025年艾華夏拍曾有一件蒙古俄局與民信局合作投遞之紅條封以港幣3萬4千元落鎚（拍品號2745）。(Image 1)
