 1898 (25 Jun) Russian 4k stationery card from St. Petersburg to Kiaochow, missent to Kiungchow, tied by circular obliterator with St. Petersburg origin cds. Transit Hong Kong (14 Aug). Arrived Hoihow BPO (17 Aug) with Webb type
E cds. Showing extremely scarce "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking on address side. Redirected to Kiaochow via Shanghai Chinese PO (27 Aug). Arrived Tsingtau German PO (5 Sep). It is the only recorded example of the "MISSENT TO HOIHOW" marking.

 Hong Kong KEVII 2c in horizontal pair, used by Tientsin BPO Webb type A subtype III cds, dated "OCT 26 / 13". Webb claimed that type A cds was put in use again during WWI and listed it as the latest recorded usage. However, Dr.
Andrew Cheung pointed out that it is actually a transpositiion error between the day and year digits.
香港愛德華七世2仙橫雙連，銷天津英局Webb A型III亞型日戳，日期為“OCT 26 / 13”。Webb聲稱A型日戳在一戰期間重新投入使用，並指此為A型日戳之最晚記錄。但張文德醫生認為此戳僅是因年份及日期字粒對掉造成的錯體。有趣。(Image 1)
