 1844 By Charles A Winchester, medical officer at the British Consulate (21 Oct) to Scotland. Entire letter, sent "via Southampton" and rated "1/-", probably carried by ship Mor to Hong Kong (2 Nov). Transit London (17 Feb).
Arrived Aberdeen (19 Feb). Very little correspondence from Amoy before the arrival of the AMOY PAID cds have survived. Webb recorded only one dated 15 Mar 1846 which was also from the consulate to Scotland with same rate and Hong Kong transit cds.

 1857 Amoy (11 Apr) to Jose Matia in Cadiz via forwading agent Michael Power in Gibraltar. Entire letter, rated "1/4" and sent "via Suez", applied with Webb type 11 "PAID AT HONGKONG" circular h.s, Hong Kong double-arc transit
cds (14 Apr) and oval forwarding agent seal. Very little correspondence from Amoy before the arrival of the AMOY PAID cds have survived. Webb recorded only one dated 15 Mar 1846 from the consulate to Scotland.

on covers and this one was dated later than Webb's record (26 Mar 1862). In Nov 2024, AVA offered an entire from Amoy to Jose Matia in Cadiz dated 26 Apr 1861 with same type A cds which was hammered at HKD$52,000 (lot 2538).

with 1 Real rate. Webb only recorded 13 post-adhesive usage of this cds on covers while Pearson recorded 16. In 2025 (Jul), AVA offered a stamped cover from Amoy to USA dated 26 Oct 1865 with same type A cds and B62 obliterator which was hammered at
HKD$42,000 (lot 2914).
1865.7.5 廈門寄馬尼拉。郵簡，貼香港維多利亞女皇像8仙雙連，銷廈門英局Webb A型“AMOY PAID”日戳。7.8經香港，貼票再銷B62殺手戳。抵馬尼拉後需再付1里爾本地郵資。Webb記錄中，蓋有此戳之貼票封僅有十三件，Pearson記錄則十六件。 2025年7月艾華夏拍中，一件1865年10月26日自廈門寄美國之貼票封，蓋有相同A型日戳及B62殺手戳，以港幣4萬2千元落鎚（拍品號2914）。(Image 1)
