 1945 Hong Kong (4 Oct) to England, redirected to India, frankless, applied with Kowloon origin cds on reverse. On front with Webb type V “HONG KONG / 1945 / POSTAGE PAID” h.s and “Look around before you talk- then don’t” war
label. Arrived Ubley (19 Oct) and redirected to India (30 Nov) with war donation d.s.. Interesting example with war label. According to Webb, adhesive were re-introduced on 1 Oct in Kowloon. However, this cover was dated even later.
1945.10.4 香港寄英國，改寄印度，無貼票，背面鈐九龍始發日戳。正面蓋有Webb V型”HONG KONG / 1945 / POSTAGE PAID”戳記，貼有“Look around before you talk - then don’t”標籤。10.19抵Ubley，改寄印度，11.30抵達，鈐戰爭籌款宣傳日戳。貼有抗日戰爭宣傳標籤十分有趣。按Webb記載，九龍郵局於10月1日重新供應郵票，但此封日期更晚，仍以戳代票。(Image 1)

reverse with Shanghai paquebot (18 Nov) transit cds. Very scarce post-WWII returned example as well as Russian in Korea postal history. 2013 (Nov) Spink China, lot 392.

paper and sold them as stam. Extremely scarce usage example.

 1945 Stanley Camp, Hong Kong to Switzerland, frankless, applied with Webb type V “HONG KONG / 1945 / POSTAGE PAID” h.s. This postmark was used on all civilian mails until the reintroduction of adhesive on 28 Sep according to
Webb. The internees of Stanley Camp were freed on 16 Aug 1945 but some of them remained on the camp until the British fleet came.
1945年赤柱拘留營寄瑞士，無貼票，鈐Webb V型“HONG KONG / 1945 / POSTAGE PAID”戳記。Webb指在9月28日重新使用郵票前，

RECORD OF REPATRIATION OF ADDRESSEE” cachet and “RETOUR” cachet. Affixed with a slip stating redirection to Hong Kong. Arrived Hong Kong returned letter office (25 Mar). Interesting returned mail example. Fleet Mail Office d.s. is also scarce.

 1945 Macau Red Cross POW service cover to R J Cloake, Stanley Internment Camp, Hong Kong, redirected to South China Morning Post. Applied with Webb type V “HONG KONG / 1945 / POSTAGE PAID” h.s. The addressee was a journalist of
SCMP who was probably released from the camp when this cover arrived. Interesting. Cover top roughly opened.
