 KULDJA: 1879 Registered cover from Kuldja to Taganrog (Russia), with 1879 7k pair tied by “KULDJIAN POSTAL BRANCH / PROVINCE OF SEMIRYECHENSK” (the Seven Rivers) 24.05.79 cds with further strike above, Taganrog bs &
manuscript annotation in Russian “Taken out of a (mail) box 24 May”, slightly reduced at top and some light soiling. The only known example from the period of Russian occupation of Kuldja. The earliest item of mail from the Russian post in Sinkiang,
the earliest known cancellation of Kuldja, of unrecorded type.
固扎爾（伊犁）：1879 年掛號信封，從伊犁寄往俄羅斯塔甘羅格，貼 1879 年 7 戈比雙連票，銷 “七河省/固扎爾郵政分局” 1879 年 5 月 24 日戳（戳面上方有重覆蓋印），塔甘羅格到達戳及俄文手稿批註 “於 5 月 24
日從信箱開出”。信封頂部略有裁切，輕微污漬。此為已知最早的固扎爾郵戳，戳式未被記錄，是俄羅斯佔領伊黎河谷期間唯一已知的郵件實例，也是俄羅斯在新疆郵政的最早實寄封，獨一無二。 Provenance: Dr Raymond Casey. 2012.12.12 Feldman Sales, lot 10159, realized EUR 500,000. 源流：凱西舊藏。2012年富門拍賣，以50萬歐元成交。(Image 1)

 1918 Kuldja (20 Apr) to Tientsin. Insured cover for 500rb, f.w. Russian Coat of Arms x14 + one dropped stamp, tied by Kuldja Russian PO type K7 cds. Transit IJPO Changchun (25 May). Arrived Tientsin Russian PO (28 May). Given
the chaos after Russian Revolution in 1917, many Chinese merchants in Sinkiang remitted their assets back to mainland China. 500 rb is the maximum amount permitted.
1918.4.20 伊寧寄天津。保險封，匯款500盧布，貼俄國軍徽圖14枚 + 1枚掉票，銷伊寧俄局K7型日戳。5.25經長春日局。5.28抵天
津俄局。1917年俄國革命後，不少新疆之中國商人因政局混亂而將資產匯寄回內地。500盧布是所容許之最高匯款銀碼。(Image 1)

yet opened. The mail was received via Russian Consulate. Forerunner example of Kashgar Russian PO.

 1878 Urga (30 Jan) to Peking. “Dun-Fu-Yu” red band cover, f.w. Russian Coat of Arms 1k + 5k + 10k on reverse, tied by pen stroke. Arrived Peking (19 Feb) according to manuscript. Pen cancellation is the first type of
cancellation used by Russian Post in Mongolia with only 14 covers recorded by Hellrigl. This example, dated earliest among. Extremely scarce. Cover opened out for display. 1985 Feldman Auction, lot 10011.

+ 5戈比 + 10戈比，以筆劃銷。按批示可知2.19抵北京。以筆劃銷為蒙古俄國客郵局最早之銷票形式，存世例子按Hellrigl記載僅有14件，此為當中日期最早者，極為稀罕難得。1985年Feldman Auction，拍品號10011。(Image 1)

 1899 Peking (29 Oct) to England. Peking PPC, f.w. Coat of Arms ovpt. “KITAI” 1k + 3k, tied by Peking Russian PO cds. Alongside with scarce Troitskosavsk “OBEZZARAZHEHO” disinfection cachet in violet. Transit Moscow. Arrived
England. Disinfection was carried out on mails from China between 1895 and 1900 due to the cholera epidemics. This example was not recorded by Hellrigl.

 RUSSIAN POST IN ULYASUTAI 1914 Uliasutai (15 Sep) to Sweden. Registered cover, f.w. Romanov 1k in pair + 2k in pair + 14k on reverse, tied by extremely scarce Uliasutai Russian PO Hellrigl type 1 cds. On front with registered
label. Arrived Sweden (30 Oct). All covers from Uliasutai Russian are extremely scarce that Hellrigl only recorded 5 covers from this post office. Still, Hellrigl stated that no cover is known with this postmark which reflects its unparalleled
rarity.
烏里雅蘇台俄國客郵局 1914.9.15 烏里雅蘇台寄瑞典。掛號封，背貼羅曼諾夫1戈比雙連 + 2戈比雙連 + 14戈比，銷極為珍罕之烏里雅蘇台俄國郵局Hellrigl 1型日戳。正貼掛號標籤。10.30抵瑞典。 出自烏里雅蘇台俄國郵局之郵例有如鳳毛麟角，Hellrigl記錄中僅見五例。他更指未見有任何信封蓋有此型郵戳，可見其稀罕程度何其驚人。(Image 1)
