airmail rate, tied by Shanghai bilingual cds. Arrived Hong Kong and f.w. KGVI 80c for refirection to Australia but refurned to Hong Kong Returned Letter Office (7 Mar). Interesting.
1948.10.8 英國在華貿易團封，自上海寄香港，改寄澳洲，退回香港。貼孫像改值5千元雙連 + 2萬元雙連 +
3萬元x2，合國外航 空郵資11萬元，銷上海三格點線日戳。抵香港加貼佐治六世8角以改寄澳洲。到達後退回，3.7抵香港退信局。有趣。(Image 1)

 1949 Nanking (9 Apr) to USSR. Airmail cover, f.w. SYS Gold Yuan and Revenue stamp surch Gold Yuan x13, in total of $6300, tied by Nanking bilingual cds. Arrived USSR (1 May). Given the deterioration of relationship between ROC
and USSR, mails to USSR after WWII are rare, not to mention airmail. Dated just several months between the establishment of PRC.
1949.4.9 南京寄蘇聯。航空封，正背貼孫像金圓 + 印花稅票改值金圓共13枚，合6300元，銷南京三格漢英日戳。5.1抵蘇聯。由於民國-蘇聯關係惡化，二戰後寄蘇聯封甚少，空郵更罕。此封寄於新中國成立僅數月前。(Image 1)

 1950 (May) a pair of covers from the miliary on Kinmen to Keelung, f.w. domestic letter unit stamp, SYS Silver Yuan and surch issues, tied by rim of postmark or Fukkien Kinmen cds. Arrived Keelung. One cover was seny by
Tungshan 58th Division on 11 May which is the day of PLA landing on Tungshan Island. The remaining ROC force retreated to Kinmen. Superb examples of the Battle of Tungshan Island.

 1927-1929 a pair of Huipi (receipt of remittance) from Puning to Soetrang, Indochina. One f.w. Junk 10c while another one frankless, both applied with “Swatow Kwangyi Dispatch / Annam Kiyuan remittance” vertical seal. Similar
with incoming Qiaopi, outgoing Qiaopi were also sent in bulk. Howerver, as French Indochina did not allow sending Qiaopi in bulk in 1927, China Post followed suit accordingly.
1927至1929年一對廣東普寧寄印支蓬潭之回批，一件貼帆船1角，一件未貼票，鈐“汕頭光益分發 /
安南吉源批銀”直戳。回批與 進口僑批一樣，通常以總包進口，但法屬印支郵政於1927年取消僑批總包，故中華郵政作出相應調整，回批總包亦改為逐件貼票 才以總包寄出。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第118頁2-41及119頁2-42原件。(Image 1)

 ca 1930s Huipi (receipt of remittance) from Swatow to Saigon, f.w. Junk 10c + Reaper 15c, tied by Swatow bilignual cds., alongside with Swatow Qiaopiju (Chinese remittance shop) cachet. Huipi to Indochina must be franked with
stamps. Postage was 25c between 1 Jul 1931 and 31 May 1935.
約1930年代汕頭寄西貢回批，貼帆船1角 + 農穫圖1角5分，銷汕頭三格漢英日戳，旁鈐“汕頭有信莊分發” 直戳、汕頭及安南批局橫戳。寄印支之回批必須貼票，郵資於1931年7月1日至1935年5月31日間為2角5分 。許茂春著《東南亞華人與僑批》第119貢2-44原件。(Image 1)
