#25 in the Survey of Patriotic Covers Carried by Local Post The 15L14 acid-tied at lower left, with the 3c 1861 tied at upper right by black circular grid cancel, alongside Blood’s black double-line September 24, 1861 circular datestamp and matching Philadelphia black octagon datestamp. Addressed to New York City with patriotic red, white, and blue "The United Forever" flag design (Weiss Type F-B-244). The cover with a tear at top, and wrinkles. The stamp with straight edge.
