GERMAN REICH INFLATION PERIOD 1921-23. A historical documentation how the German Reichmarks lost it`s value. More than 50 sheets bearing fiscal stamps which paid the income tax the company had to pay for their workers, sometime one sheet bearing much more than 50 fiscal stamps thus making this lot an offer of more than a couple of thousand revenue stamps (with a huge variety of different stamps!), The inflationary progression went from 20 Reichsmark in the beginning of 1921 to 2,5 billions in December 1921. A highly attractive study for the specialist! ÷ DEUTSCHES REICH/INFLATIONSZEIT 1921-23, eine historische Dokumentation über den Verfall einer Währung (damals waren es noch "Mark"...): Abrechnungsbögen verschiedener Unternehmen über abgeführte Lohnsteuer für die einzelnen Arbeitnehmen, jeweils mit Steuermarken abgegolten. Teils sind die Bögen mit über 50 Marken beklebt, bei über 50 Bögen in diesem Los dürften es ein paar tausend Steuermarken insgesamt sein. Anfang 1921 betrug die Steuer noch 20 Mark, im Dezember 1923 waren es dann 2,5 Billionen Mark! Eine großartige Vielfalt an Stempelmarken, die in diesem Zeitraum Verwendung fanden!

Included are approximately 170+ documents starting from c. 1900 with Indian Revenues used in Burma up to c. 1975, incl. bills of exchange, drafts, "Rice Sale Notes", notary documents, stamped paper etc. plus a stockbook with more than 400 Burmese revenue stamps, the large part mint or unmounted mint, e.g. Court Fee 1927 up to 6 R., also MIL ADMN overprints, Insurance 1974 large units unmounted mint incl. 10 k. red (25) plus one single "value omitted", Share Transfer 1930 5 R. unmounted, Japanese Occ. 1942, 5c. green (6). Many possiblities for specialisation (paper varieties etc.). Good opportunity to aquire a very unusual collecting aerea, such a big accumulation cannot easily been repeated. Some items are displayed on our website. ÷ BURMA/BIRMA/MYANMAR, ab ca. 1900, riesiger Bestand an burmesischen Fiskalmarken und Dokumenten. Dabei ca. 170+ Dokumente ab etwa 1900, zunächst (bis 1936) mit indischen Frei- oder Fiskalmarken in Burma verwendet, dabei Wechsel, Reis-Kontrakte, Notariatsbeglaubigungen, Stempelpapiere usw. Ferner ein Lagerbuch mit burmesischen Steuermarken, überwiegend ungebr./postfrisch, u.a. "Court Fee" 1927 bis 6 R., auch MIL ADMN Überdrucke, "Insurance" 1974 in größeren Einheiten inkl. 10 K. rot (25) und Einzelstück mit Abart "fehlende Wertziffer", "Share Transfer" 1930 5 R. postfrisch, Japan. Besetzung 1942, 5c. grün (6). Dabei ergeben sich Spezialisierungsmöglichkeiten z.B. für Papiersorten usw. Gelegenheit, von einem wirklich etwas "abseitigen" Sammelgebiet einen guten Bestand zu erwerben, in dieser Fülle kaum ein zweites Mal zusammenzutragen. HUNGARIAN-AUSTRIAN MILITARY BORDER 1868, "The most puzzling Revenue Stamps" was the title of a dealer`s offer about 70 years ago. We are proud to offer the stock of these revenue stamps which were issued a couple of years before the first Hungarian postage stamps came into use. These are approximately 1200 stamps arranged in old booklets according to the "Forbin" catalogue (of 1915 !) and followed by the Norton/Erler and the K. Szücs "Fiscal Philately of Hungary" works, the latter only published in 2018 (we have added extracts of both modern publications). The stock contains many scarce stamps such as the 60kr. x20, 75kr. x7, 90kr. x11 and there are many possibilities for specialisation for watermark, perforations, paper varieties. (The K.Szücs catalogue listings add up to more than 75.000 Euros!). A unique possibilty to aquire an intact old dealer`s stock with much potential for study and research! Please get a first impression from some exemplary pages on our website. ÷ ÖSTERREICH-UNGARISCHE MILITÄRGRENZE, 1868, der einmalige Bestand dieser ungarischen Stempelmarken mit Adler-Überdruck aus einem alten Händlerlager, den wir geschlossen anbieten können. Schon die Geschichte dieser Steuermarken ist hochinteressant, erschienen doch die ungarischen Stempelmarken lange vor der Ausgabe von Postwertzeichen. Der in Heften geordnete Posten von etwa 1200 Marken folgt in seinen kurzen Beschreibungen dem "Forbin"-Katalog (aus dem Jahre 1915!), beigefügt von uns sind auch Auszüge aus den Nachfolgewerken von Norton/Erler und dem recht neuen Werk von K. Szücs "Fiscal Philately of Hungary" aus dem Jahre 2018. Nach dessen Katalogisierung ergibt sich ein Katalogwert von über 75.000 Euro, wobei viele gute Werte mehrfach vorhanden sind, z.B. 60Kr. (20), 75Kr. (7), 90 Kr. (11); die Ausgabe kann auch nach Zähnungen, Papiersorten und natürlich den Verwendungsgebieten (Kroatien, Bulgarien..) spezialisiert werden.
