202 1983 Essays for the Guyana stamp issue "125th Anniversary of G.B Stamps used in Guyana", composite essays of the four designs depicting the G.B 1857 1d red or 1855-57 4d, 6d or 1/-, handpainted frames with an inset printed background and applied printed QV head, the 1d red essay with the background partly handpainted, all with some handpainted details to the QV head. Each essay 98x118mm, affixed to thick card (214x258mm) with colour details below. A unique group from the Format Security Printers archive, attractive items to accompany a G.B collection. (4).
