Lot Symbol Descrip Opening 176 1929 Postal Union Congress ½d - 2½d in specially prepared imperforate miniature sheets of four with marginal lines on white glazed paper mounted in sunken gilt edged card frames, with an accompanying letter from the Post Office Secretary, Sir G.E.P Murray to Campbell Dodgson forwarding these proofs on behalf of the Postmaster General. Only a tiny number of miniature sheets were prepared for presentation purposes; Campbell Dodgson was a member of the Committee that selected the designs for these stamps. Superb and very rare.
