Maria Cleghorn writes that she is returning 60 yds of dark blue persian cloth, sent instead of sky blue and a colour that never sells. 1858 1862-65 Entire letters from St. Christopher to U.S.A, the 1862 letter a legal document from the U.S Consul certifying the arrival of the Schooner "Rowena" from Philadelphia with a cargo of bread and provisions, sent unpaid to Philadelphia with octagonal framed "6" charge (4c inland + 2c ship); and 1865 letter to New York reporting the arrival of the "Laura Pride" with "NEW YORK SHIP LETTER / 4" c.d.s. The 1862 letter with file folds, otherwise fine, an uncommon destination from St. Kitts. (2).

An exceptional postally used newspaper, including an advertisement for the Advertiser Office printing establishment (which overprinted the Four Pence on 6d stamps in 1884).

The Antigua 1d stamps were authorised for use in St. Kitts in January - March 1890 during a shortage of 1d stamps.
