Est. £100-120 Closing..May-07, 02:00 AM EST. 1935 (July 17) KLM "Maraboe" Crash at Bushire Lot Symbol Descrip Opening 1644 1935 (July 11/12) Covers, the July 11 cover from Soerabaja to Amsterdam franked 42½c, a little burnt, forwarded within a Dutch "DIENST PTT" ambulance envelope with printed explanation; July 12 cover from Singapore with three 25c Silver Jubilee stamps, severely burnt, endorsed "Damaged in Air Crash" and initialled. Only 25kg of the 116kg of mail carried was recovered, all fire damaged, most of it originating in the Netherlands Indies. (3).
