Fairburn, 110 Minories, hand coloured with a verse below, entitled "The Lass O Gowrie". Posted from Norwich to "Master Edward Lubbock, Scottow Vicarage, near North Walsham" bearing a 1d red (just touched at left), reverse with Norwich datestamp and "Too Late". A fine and attractive valentine which can be folded to display the picture and backstamps. Photo on Page 8. Est. £120-140 Closing..May-07, 02:00 AM EST. 50 c.1870-1906 Valentines in the form of telegrams (3), a promissory note from the Lovers Banking Co or a Summons to the Court of True Love, two of the telegram type cards printed by Ernst Nister of Nuremberg probably for the American market, and a "Love s Telegram" envelope printed by Nister posted in the U.S.A in 1906, also a 1930 valentine postcard depicting a Western Union valentine telegram and envelope.
