Two pages bearing 1904 War Orphans Fund set of four with cyrillic "B" overprints (Specimen?), 1905 15k and 25k, 1906 5r and 10r all in strips of three, 1908 and 1913 sets, Russian P.O in Turkey 1910 20pa on 5k and set of seven, 1912 and 1913 sets, 1913 15pa on 3k and 50pi on 5r, also Bosnia Herzegovina 1900 1k 2k, and 1903 40h, all handstamped "Specimen", type "R4" on the Russian stamps, the Bosnia stamps with 19x2½mm handstamp in serifed capitals. Three pages bearing strips of three of the 1887-91 12a and 24a, 1899 3a and 10a surcharges, 1899 - 1904 issue (8a, 10a, 64a and the six 1904 stamps, with four duplicates), 1905 surcharge pair with extra 2a on 28a, 1905-08 set with the nine original values in strips of six (additional strips of six values) and singles of the five 1908 values, singles of the scarce 1907 10t - 40t surcharges on fiscal stamps, 1907-08 surcharges, 1908 Jubilee and King Chulalongkorn Statue sets, 1909 new currency surcharges (11 stamps), 1910 and 1912 sets. The 1907 fiscal surcharge set of three and 1908 Kings Statue 10t, 20t and 40t bear a tiny 12x1½mm specimen handstamp presumably applied in Siam to high value stamps prior to distribution to the U.P.U; all other stamps are handstamped "Specimen" type R4. The spine broken and covers detached, nevertheless a very reasonable example of the first commercial stamp album produced for the British market, containing two maps.

440 1864 Lallier stamp album, third English edition in remarkably fine condition, a reasonable number of stamps throughout (though many pages are unused), nearly all stuck down but otherwise mainly fine, including 1d black with four margins, various European classics, India 1866 6a, Hong Kong 1866 18c, Straits Settlements 1867 1½c pair, 3c, 6c, Canada, USA 1869 12c and 24c, etc. The finest condition Lallier album we have seen, with hand painted fold out world map, signed by Lallier, metal clasp.
