Lot 2633 - (R87a) MC, incredible deep dark color and rich impression, some light CR's, large to huge margins all around, fresh and Extremely Fine appearing example of this rare stamp, the 1986 cert. is no longer with the stamp, there are 87 recorded stamps and 61 are faulty to some degree, a wonderful copy of this always popular issue.

Michael Aldrich Auctions Sale - 117

Michael E. Aldrich Winter Online Only Sale #117 - January 23, 2026

Our 117th Michael E. Aldrich Auction sale will be held on January 23, 2026.

This sale will be an INTERNET ONLY auction, there will NOT be a live online session. The descriptions and lot listing information along with images for each lot will be available on StampAuctionNetwork. There are singles and sets with values from about $100.00 to $5,000.00 each.

This internet auction sale consists of United States, U.S. B.O.B. U.S. Revenues and Worldwide stamps and covers. There are nearly 6900 individual lots with every lot photographed and available for viewing online. There is a strong U.S. B.O.B. section including a very nice section of U.S. Revenues which includes a nice showing of Match & Medicine stamps.

There is also a strong U.S. Possessions section included in this sale. There is also a very strong Worldwide section with many various countries present

Each lot has images available and can be viewed here on StampAuctionNetwork. Those interested in viewing the sale personally should call the office for an appointment. Viewing generally gets busier closer to the closing date of the sale so please make arrangements early.

As always, we will provide opening bids for this sale on the StampAuctionNetwork website about five days prior to the closing date of the sale. We update these opening bids daily and then a couple of times each of the last two days.
