NORWAY/ICELAND MAIL WITH PAQUEBOT MARKS OF GRANGEMOUTH (RARE), EDINBURGH, HULL OR BERGEN; 1913-37 lot inc. attractive 3 Mar. 1913 commercial env. ex Arendal to GB with Norway 10o (2) tied by v. fine "GRANGEMOUTH" cds's with a mainly v. fine matching rare boxed Grangemouth "PAQUEBOT" (Hosking 303; seldom seen, only known 1903-14) alongside, plus range of covers with Iceland frankings cancelled at ports of arrival; 1934 Hull cds with matching PAQUEBOT alongside to GB, 1935 Edinr. PAQUEBOT machine cancels to Denmark, and 6 1926/37 Bergen envs. to Denmark(3)/Sweden(2)/Germany with v. fine "Paquebot" marks (2 types) in purple (3) or black (2) and one purple boxed type. Also 1935/9 philatelic covers with Sweden (4) or Norway frankings having Reykjavik cancels and varied Paquebot/ship-name marks, along with 2 off-cover stamps and a 1935 piece.
