1916 (18.10) Censored envelope from Orleans, France addressed to "Missions Militaire Francaise du Hedjaz à Djedda, Arabie", with manuscript "FM" (Forces Militaires) alongside, therefore no postage required, on reverse transit postmarks of Port Taufiq and Port Said, plus DJEDDAH arrival (11.11), showing various censor mkgs and blue tape, very fine and extremely rare, probably the only recorded incoming mail to the French Military Mission in Hejaz (Image)

1918 OFS (One Field Service) cover sent by H. St. John Philby from Riyadh (1.8) via "KOWEIT" (21.8) - the scarce early cds spelt with "O" - to his wife in England.
