image 1831c: Postal Wax Seal reading "... Valach: Molda: ... 1831" (not listed in Kiriac) on reverse of cover to Galati struck solely with superb but erased impression of DDSG "ABONIRT" straight line "Subscriber" handstamp in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 826, see page 479). A rare entire, the Abonirt marking was only used by subscribing Companies who paid an annual fee to the DDSG for their mail to be carried. (Image 1) (Image 2) (Image)

image 1858 (July 21): Bull's Heads 27 parale black on rose laid paper, an example with fair to good margins, fresh colours, cancelled by two part strikes of "BERLAD / MOLDOVA ./8" datestamp in blue (Kiriac fig. 272). Only five examples of the 27 pa. are recorded in the Heimbüchler handbooks used from Berlad with this stamp being a new find. The stamp is obviously completely backed, still an attractive example of this desirable stamp due to its excellent colour and fresh appearance. Cert. Gmach (2016) Mi = EUR 15'000. This example is a new find and therefore unlisted in the Heimbüchler handbooks. An interesting example of this desirable stamp. Signed Fulpius, Mohrmann, Grobe; Cert. Grobe (1970) Mi = EUR 6'000.
