image THE DAY BEFORE THE START OF WORLD WAR II: Airmail cover sent from Den Haag to Argentina on 31/AU/1939 franked with 92½c., World War II started the following day. On back it bears an arrival mark of Buenos Aires for 18/OC, it arrived after one and a half month, possibly due to the postal problems produced by the war, very interesting! (Image)
