image 1934 (Mar 26) Air Mail cover flown from Athens to Patras franked 1d + 2d on the front, the reverse bearing 1933 Air issue 3d + bisected 1d to make up the 3½d air fee, Air Mail cachets on the front and a blue label on reverse. Bisects of this Air 1d were authorised in Athens after they ran out of the 50L air stamp, and are recorded between March 26th and April 2nd. Very scarce. Photo on Page 182. (Image1)
