One strip originally applied around the edge of the cover and sensibly opened for better Exhibit display. Ink manuscript on reverse 'see Stanley Gibbons 1917, page 52 no Z845'. 'Coquimbo' cds (Aug), British P.O. 'Callao' transit cds (Aug 26), London red cds and Tunbridge Wells arrival (Sept 30) all on reverse with notation by sender "Nothing but Penny and Twopenny Stamps on the Coast". Heavy vertical crease and some adhesives with imperfections but this is of no great significance as Stanley Gibbons list but do not price any 1 d. red issue used in Coquimbo.
