image MIXED FRANKING DANISH WEST INDIES AND FRANCE 1865 Large fragment franked by 1856 3c carmine together with French Napoleon III 80c carmine, both tied by neat target cancel, ST.THOMAS 24/10 1865 despatch cds together with French entry marking ST.THOMAS 24 OCT 65 PAQ.FR.B N°2, also red boxed PD, 80c for the single rate to France by French packet and DWI 3c for the local rate. B N°2 alongside with French boxed F/43 accountancy marking, the letter was locally franked by 1856 DWI 3c carmine tied by target cancel.
