image U.S., Possessions, Set of 25 Mostly Better Covers, 1895-1937, from Canal Zone, Cuba, Guam, Philippines and Puerto Rico; Cuba includes two with Spanish-era multiple frankings plus several American period entires and postal cards; Puerto Rico includes a Spanish-American War stampless Soldier's Letter assessed 2¢ Postage Due, several "Porto Rico" overprints, etc.; Philippines offer a 1916 Registered cover, the adhesive tied by large centerless circle-of-wedges cancel; even a 2¢ Sullivan cancelled by "U.S.M.C./Port au Prince Haiti" duplex; generally sound, Very Fine overall, interesting material; inspect.

image Cuba and Puerto Rico, 1855-1905, Collections, mounted on Scott and handmade pages, Puerto Rico starts with an attractive starter collection of about 150 Spanish era stamps (including a few hundred dollars catalogue value with some useful items such as unused #5-6, 131-132 and used #133), followed by a nice assortment of U.S. overprints at both angles with unused: two #213, 214, 214 "FORTO' variety, J1-J2, J1-J1a pair, J3a and used J3a, cut squares #U1-U2, U15-U18, and W1, a small group of Rectified Spirits stamps, and a set of Aerovias triangles, Cuba begins with about 100 various Spanish era Cuba including regulars, revenues and newspapers (nothing too exciting but some attractive and useful stamps totaling a couple of hundred dollars catalogue value), then three likely forged Puerto Principe surcharges, then a small group of U.S. era overprints and pictorials including unused #226 and E2, and republic era #232a and 232c overprint errors, mixed but generally quite nice condition, many attractive and useful items, F.-V.F. lot.

image Danish West Indies, 1856-1915, parallel mint and used collections, mounted on Scott specialty pages, mint collection is practically complete (missing less then ten items), with many extras such as shades, inverted frames, multiples and unusual items, highlights include: #1 pair, 3-4, two defective 12, 13, 14 and 31-39, used collection missing a few more but includes many extras as well, highlights such as: two #1, #2 pair, #2 rouletted, #3-4 and 43-50, also included are 1905 and 1906 Danish West Indian Lottery tickets, condition is far above average for these though some faults are to be expected, a fantastic basis for further expansion or a marvelous opportunity for break-down, generally F.-V.F.

image Ryukyus, Complete Collection, 1948-72, mounted on Scott Specialty pages, missing just two stamps—and not the two you'd expect; includes #1-7 and 1a-7a complete, #17c, two pages of 10Y on 50s surcharge varieties, plus all Airs and Express; a couple later commemoratives missing, but those you'll probably find in the additional material included, comprising singles, some complete panes, plus postal stationery (mint and used) and some interesting First Day Covers; stamps fresh, though in need of remounting on clean pages, F.-V.F. or better, well worth a look.
