WWII Alaska Highway/US APO's in Canada Cover Collection 80+ covers, majority neatly annotated, covering military post offices along the Alaska Highway constructed in 1942 to connect the contiguous United States to Alaska across Canada. It begins at the junction with several Canadian highways in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, and runs to Delta Junction, Alaska, via Whitehorse, Yukon. Spotted APO's from Alberta, Yukon, British Columbia, with post offices in Whitehorse, Edmonton, Waterways, Dawson Creek, and Kluane Lake. Many covers are patriotic, some being censored. USA 19th Century Foreign Destination Cover Lot - 12 diff covers with a nice variety of destinations including England, Italy, Switz, France, and Canada. Note postal markings, some stationery including 2 postal cards, mostly banknote issues but a few earlier including a Scott 115 on cover sent to Canada and Scott 69 and 71 on cover to Switzerland.
