1927 15c Envelopes overprinted "SPECIMEN, the stamps additionally handstamped "SPECIMEN" (BEC 2a) applied by the receiving authority, believed to be Bechuanaland Protectorate, or violet "Especimen" applied in Lisbon to U.P.U specimens received for distribution to the Portuguese Colonies. Both fine, the first unique, the second very scarce. (2).
