1903, New Zealand definitives with overprint, 2 1/2 PENI on 2 1/2 Penny, three pieces all with wide space (2 mm) between "1/ 2" and "P", registered cover from Penrhyn to San Francisco. On reverse transit and arrival postmarks Rarotonga (Cook Islands), Auckland, San Francisco. Cover and stamps slightly spotted, but attractive and certainly not often found. ÷ 1903, Freimarken Neuseeland mit Aufdruck, 2 1/2 PENI auf 2 1/2 Penny, drei Stück sämtlich mit weitem Zwischenraum (2 mm) zwischen "1/ 2" und "P", Einschreibbrief aus Penrhyn nach San Francisco, rs. Transit- und Ankunftstempel Rarotonga (Cook Islands), Auckland, San Francisco. Brief und Marken leicht fleckig, aber attraktiv und so sicher nicht häufig zu finden.
