QV PERIOD CURVED "AMOY/A" C.D.S.s AS CANCEL (10c TO HOLLAND) & BACKSTAMP (1c PC EX HK); 5 Aug. 1889 env. (most of flap missing and closed tears to reverse but attractive) to Amsterdam with HK 10c tied by very fine "AMOY/A" cds with a second v. fine strike alongside (Amsterdam backstamp; 12 Sept.); plus 27 Apr. 1894 usage of the HK 1c Blue-green P. Stat. PC (some scuffing and toning away from stamp) cancelled by v. fine HK cds addressed to the British Consul in Amoy (commercial usage ; confirmation of despatch of a "Tennis bat per parcels post") with a mainly very fine "AMOY/A" arrival cds on the reverse. Scarce pair. Plus 1910 piece with KEVII 1c(2)+2c tied by purple boxed "Cancelled" and v. fine "AMOY/A" cds's.
