image 1887, India used abroad, cover with entire letters to the director of the 'Bibliotheca National, Lisboa, Portugal', franked with India QV 3a pair tied by ''ZANZIBAR/1 AU 1/87'' squared cds, with red French and blue Paris transit cds alongside, Sea P.O. cds, Aden transit cds and arrival cds (31.8.87) on reverse. Front and back of cover separated, few little stains otherwise fine. (Image)

image 1895 Provisional "2½" on 1a6p. sepia, ovpt. type 2, horizontal pair, used on larger size postal stationery envelope 2a., optd. in blue, cancelled "ZANZIBAR/17 DE./95" c.d.s., circled "R" h/s alongsaide, and addressed to the 'Deutsch-Ostafrikanische Gesellschaft' (German East African Society) in Lindi, no further postmarks. Part of envelope's flap missing (incl. part of printed 2a. stamp) and central vertical fold, but a fine and scarce pair of the Provisional used on a scarce p/s registered envelope.
