1911-12 KGV Fullface 1d Thick White Enamelled Stock (Off-White to Cream Inside) ACSC LC12 'SETTLER'S HOME VICTORIA' in black-brown with 'L' of 'COMMONWEA TH' Omitted in the Heading, the halves separated & rejoined, a little soiled, unused, Cat $1000. [Only five examples - one used - have been recorded]
1914-18 KGV Sideface 1d 1d Die 1 Perf 12½ ACSC LC18 'BURRINJUCK DAM NEW SOUTH WALES/Irrigating a young Citrus Orchard...' in dull purple punctured 'OS/NSW' and with tiny 'MURRUMBIDGEE IRRIGATION AREAS' h/s below the first line of the caption, roneo'd letter within, used at Sydney in 1918, horizontal folds & reddish stain on the view side, Cat $500. The three recorded examples were discovered only in 2011. They are the only recorded scenic letter cards with an official puncture. [NB: the punctures were applied before the cards were folded, with only the stamp impression being penetrated]

[The Stamp Printer, Thomas Harrison, was ambivalent towards the scenic cards & allowed the plates to deteriorate, which ultimately resulted in their discontinuance. This card is an excellent example of Harrison's disregard]
