QV COLLECTION OF CUT-OUTS APPLIED TO COVERS: Binder with the display collection neatly arranged on pages, inc. 1842? env. to Wymondham with two 1d pink cut-outs cancelled but not tied by MX cancels, apparently unofficial use prior to 1845 sanction of cut-outs, "Stalham/Penny Post" at left; 1901 London env. with 1d pink cut-out not accepted so charged "2d" with "Contrary to regulations/E.C.". Continues with examples of inland & overseas Regd. covers, overseas wrappers and postcards all with cut-outs sometimes in combination with postage stamps, etc. A very attractive lot.
