Official. 1907-11 5s deep red 'Mount Cook', wmk sideways, upper right corner block of 4, brilliant o.g. (lightly hinged on upper right stamp, the other three unmounted). The upper pair with light bend (trivial on left stamp), still a superb and rare positional multiple with wonderful colour. [CP 2008 rates unmounted examples at $1000 each, against $300 for hinged]. 1938-52 King's Heads collection in two fine boxed Warwick albums, nicely written up per Campbell Paterson and untouched since 1984. Shades and papers, inverted watermarks, and a very good range of Plate blocks, mixed hinged and unmounted but offered intact as received. We note 1d scarlet u/m block broken ribbon, 1d green 2nd coarse Plate 85 u/m, 1 1/2d purple-brown imprint block, 2d on 1 1/2d positional block with R10/10 inserted '2', variety stamp u/m; 5d coarse 91 and 96 blocks; 6d inverted watermark u/m marginal block; 9d inverted watermark block, two unmounted; 1/- centre double one albino unmounted, faint foxing on perfs on reverse; 1/- Die 2 unmounted block; 1/3d Frame Dies 1a and 1b inverted watermark unmounted blocks; 3/- watermark inverted blocks in both vignette shades.
