image RARE 2-RING 1726 "FROM/LONDON" MARK ON COVER FROM LONDON TO SIENA VIA TURIN; Fine 17 Dec. 1725 EL to Siena endorsed "Franco p Turin" with British postal rate on flap obscured b y a very fine (for this) rare 2-ring London Foreign Branch "FROM/LONDON" mark (slightly affected by adjacent filing note). This is Jay L1080 and previously only recorded for 1719-20; few examples known. (Image)
