Dec. 1840 EL (tear inc. through the stamp) to Burton upon Trent with four margin 1d black tied in red, scarce "PICKERING" skeleton across the flap; Sep. 1841 E to York forwarded to London, franked cut into 1d red FK plate 11, "PICKERING", "YORK" (2) and London cds on the back; 1843/44 pair EL to Snaith with 1d reds (one cover with two paying a late fee) both with fine "SELBY" cds on the front; 1844 E to Derby franked 1d red (torn) with "HULL" cds in green and uncommon "PATRINGTON" udc in blue on the lower flap; and 1846 piece with cut into 2d blue pair tied 930 York numerals and blue "SUTTON-ON-DERWENT" udc.
