image 1860 (Dec 8) Outer London to Amsterdam inscribed Via Ostende with 1857 4d rose-carmine pair SG #66 (£300+ on cover) each cancelled London diamond BN '11', handstamp 'England/Franco' in black alongside (prob applied in Ostend). On the back commercial cachet in blue of 'RICHD BRANDT/LONDON', black London indented square receiving, red Amsterdam arrival cds two days later. Scorch fault, filing folds not affecting stamps, a bit fragile. (Image1)

image 1862 (Feb 25) entire to Andalusia (Spain) with 6d lilac SG #70 (cat £190 on cover) tied BN '567' duplex of Newton Abbot alongside circle 'PD' in red, backstamp red London transit following day, 'JEREZ/4/MAR/CADIZ' d/ring cds in black, a tad fragile but fine overall. From the correspondence of the Garvey family (renowned dealer/supplier of quality sherry, port, etc). Very nice. (Image1)
