PRE-STAMP ACCUMULATION FROM c.1760s ONWARDS: Wide range of interesting marks from many different counties. Includes early s/l town and mileage marks, 'Bishop' marks, UDCs (incl. Dereham, Leamington, Lowestoft, Pershore, Welford, etc.), Skeletons (incl. Helston, Warwick, Durham, Wellington, Biggleswade, etc.), many Penny Paid marks and "PAID AT/...." types incl. Howden, Halifax, Leicester, Liverpool, Oxford and "Hanwell/3py P.
