1852-55 (2d) Greyish Slate bisected vertically left and right halves of different stamps, tied on piece by "1" numeral, showing light complete strike of a Dominica double-arc datestamp for August 1854 adjacent, very rare and the only known example of two of these bisects used on the one item (SG £8'500 for a single on cover)
Provenance: Ex Robson Lowe sale in 1947 of "A Prominent West End Philatelist", where it sold for the then substantial amount of £110.
